Course Information
Our 7 day training, along with 30 hours home study provides students with the necessary knowledge and experience to achieve I-ACT Foundation level certification in Colon Hydrotherapy. Students are preferred to have some experience in a body based therapy, however there are no prerequisites required in order to attend our training. It is more important that students demonstrate a willingness to learn and have the aptitude to understand human anatomy and physiology.

What will I study?
By the end of the course students will be able to:- Demonstrate appropriate knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to fulfill test requirements, and undergo intensive study of the digestive system.
- Understand the history, theory and appropriate practice of Colon Hydrotherapy.
- Demonstrate a detailed knowledge of health and sanitation procedures.
- Show an understanding of business processes and ethics relevant to Colon Hydrotherapists.
- Experience introductory sessions in other modalities that compliment Colon Hydrotherapy i.e. cleansing and detox regimes, Yoga, Pilates, Indian Head Massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage techniques.
- Document over 25 Colon Hydrotherapy treatments that the student has conducted, observed or taken part in.
- Carry out day to day maintenance on Colon Hydrotherapy devices.
How will I be assessed?
Written exams and practical application of Colon Hydrotherapy.
What next?
Following attainment of the Foundation level, students can decide to study for intermediate and advanced level examinations. The Alternative Angels British School of Colon Hydrotherapy will also conduct an annual I-Act Instructor level certification programme to qualify advanced level therapists to instruct others.
